These terms apply to all services provided by Heat Treatment UK ("we", "us", "our") and to your use of this website. By booking a service or using this website you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide professional heat treatment services for the control of bed bugs and other heat-sensitive pests. All work is carried out by trained technicians using specialist industrial heat equipment.
2. Quotations
Quotes are based on the information you provide about the property. If the site conditions differ significantly on arrival — for example additional rooms, undisclosed infestations or blocked access — we may adjust the price after discussion with you before proceeding.
3. Bookings, deposits and payment
A booking is confirmed once agreed in writing (email or message) and any requested deposit is paid. Full payment is due on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept bank transfer and card payment.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before the booked slot to avoid a charge. Cancellations inside 48 hours may forfeit the deposit and be subject to a call-out fee to cover reserved technician time and equipment.
5. Your responsibilities before treatment
- Complete the preparation checklist provided before our assessment.
- Remove aerosols, candles, medication, batteries, electronics, plants and heat-sensitive plastics before the treatment day.
- Ensure safe, unobstructed access to all rooms being treated.
- Vacate the property during treatment and re-enter only when we advise it is safe.
- Disclose any relevant information about the property, occupants, pets or previous treatments.
6. Guarantee
Where a written guarantee is provided, it applies only when the preparation and aftercare instructions have been followed. Live video evidence is required for any follow-up claim so our team can review the situation and arrange further treatment under the guarantee terms.
7. Limitations
Heat treatment is highly effective but no pest-control service can guarantee that bed bugs will never return, particularly where the property is at ongoing risk of re-introduction (for example travel, shared housing or second-hand furniture). We are not liable for re-infestation caused by external sources after successful treatment.
8. Damage and liability
We take reasonable care of your property. Items sensitive to heat must be removed before treatment as advised. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the treatment area against our instructions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the treatment in question, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
9. Website use
The content on this website is provided for information only. You may not copy, resell or misuse it. We aim to keep the site accurate but do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or available.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
